Question
What if everything being done throughout the world under the guise of “war” was really just being done to protect a broken experiment in capitalism? This is not a statement about socialism or communism or anarchism, this is a question of value, are any of these systems worth fighting, dying, or killing for? They are moth ridden and rusty, they are already breaking here on earth, so...

End War
If your child was going to Afghanistan to volunteer in orphanages, schools, or anywhere in war-torn society, would you hope and pray that bombs do not fall where they are? Would you suddenly want the war that you find, “necessary” and “just” to stop, or at least pause, while your child is there? Why?

I got played
I wear the same pair of black jeans along with my black zip-up every day, cause I’m so punk. Today my wife says, “you wear the same thing every day, wear a flannel or something instead of that same zip-up.” I am a really sweet guy, so I was like, “alright.” Later in the day, when I went to meet my wife for lunch, she was wearing my black zip-up. I got played.

Down for Life
Me: my middle school punk self is way psyched on my life right now
Jeff: elaborate
Me: brewed a pot of coffee and pulled a starbucks cup from the trash to use for my fresh brew. spent my lunch trying to patch my air mattress (again) with silicone caulk. filled a ww2 canteen with tap water because there were no bottles or cups....at some point, i crossed a line and instead of trying to be punk, my life just became punk...my middle school self is psyched and my now self wants a real bed.
Jeff: haha...all good things.

Swing Dance, born in the USA
roosterfield: Yes, swing dance, with all its variations and permutations, was born in the USA, just like apple pie and coonskin caps, but without murdering any fruits or mammals. SWING DANCE.  Try it! You’ll like it!
